Allison J. Moosally, MD

Allied Dermatology and Skin Surgery is fortunate to have Dr. Moosally’s expertise on staff. She specializes in skin cancer treatment including Mohs micrographic surgery. She is also experienced in general Dermatology, and cosmetic services such as laser surgery, neurotoxins (Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport), and fillers (Juvéderm, Restylane, Radiesse, and Belotero).
Angela L. Funovits, MD

A graduate of the B.S./M.D. program of Northeast Ohio Medical University, Dr. Funovits completed her dermatology residency at MetroHealth Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University where she served as academic chief resident. She is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine (Dermatology) at Northeast Ohio Medical University and also serves on the board of trustees of the Ohio Dermatological Association. She has contributed comprehensive fundraising efforts to multiple charitable organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology and American Cancer Society, and has accordingly been named a recipient of the AAD’s Presidential Citation Award.
Ann R. Kooken, MD

Dr. Kooken treats both adult and pediatric patients. Her emphasis is on accurate diagnosis for the most effective treatment of skin cancer and other skin diseases. She is also involved in cosmetic Dermatology, with specialized training and vast experience in skin rejuvenating procedures such as Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin), Dermal fillers (Juvéderm, Restylane, Belotero, and Radiesse), Laser skin resurfacing, Leg and facial vein treatment, Resolution of skin discoloration, and Skin care.
Christina C. Cernik, MD

A graduate of the Northeast Ohio Medical University, Dr. Cernik completed her dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI, an affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident. She is a member of multiple organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Cleveland Dermatological Society, the Ohio Dermatological Association and the Zeta Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Cernik is also an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine (Dermatology) at Northeast Ohio Medical University where she continues to mentor Medical Students.
James F. Libecco, MD

Dr. Libecco’s educational background includes a degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University, where he graduated in the top five percent of his class. An internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology were completed at the Cleveland Clinic, where he served as chief resident. He joined the Cleveland Clinic staff after residency as Director of the Psoriasis, Phototherapy, and Cutaneous Care Center, and Director of the Clinical Research Center. After moving into Private Practice Dr. Libecco continues to focus on research of inflammatory skin conditions and innovative treatments for skin cancer.
Justin G. Woodhouse, MD

Dr. Woodhouse is a graduate of The University of Iowa College of Medicine. He continued training at the Cleveland Clinic with an internship in Internal Medicine followed by residency in Dermatology. He continued his studies with a two-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction, also at the Cleveland Clinic. He has over 15 years of experience treating numerous patients with skin cancer, and prides himself on understanding and explaining each individual patient’s circumstances and choosing the best approach with the patient. He is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for patients. Dr. Woodhouse has 5 children and an adoring wife which happily occupy a fair amount of his time, but he “enjoys” hands on work at his home which requires never-ending maintenance. His favorite thing to bring contentment is working in the garden. He also tries to golf but being that it is inherently impossible to master he often chooses to go back to the yard.
Kimberly Tamargo, MD

A graduate of Northeast Ohio Medical University, Dr. Tamargo completed her dermatology residency at MetroHealth Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University where she served as chief resident. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Cleveland Dermatological Society, the Ohio Dermatological Association and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She specializes in general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Her interests include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, rashes (including psoriasis and eczema), cosmetic dermatology, acne, moles/growths and pediatrics.
Lauren K. Guren, MD

Dr. Guren is a native of Mentor, Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Michigan. While completing medical education at Temple University School of Medicine, she was selected for the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Guren returned to Cleveland for an internship in Internal Medicine as well as a residency in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic.
Gina Berardinelli, RN, BSN, MSN, CNP

Gina’s nursing career began at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, working in cardiac and critical care for four years. She returned to Ursuline College, receiving her RN to BSN in 2001. A Master of Science in Nursing from the same institution followed in 2007. Nearly a decade of Gina’s advanced practice career has been focused on Dermatology. Serving as developer and director of an acne clinic, Gina gained additional expertise in skin care and acne treatment.
Jill Warner, RN, BSN, MSN, CNP

Jill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Kent State University. For seven years, she worked in the intensive care unit at Akron General Medical Center as a registered nurse. Jill achieved a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Kent State in 2011. Since that time, she has been privileged to train under Dr. James Libecco, working as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Alyssa Hauff, CNP

Alyssa originally earned her Associates degree in nursing from Mercy College in Toledo, Ohio then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Chamberlain College. For several years, she worked as a nurse in various roles from Intensive Care Units, Step Down Intensive Care Units and Emergency Room. Alyssa achieved a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Allen College in 2020.
